Role of the Pharmacist-led Pharmacotherapy

  1. Collaboration with other health professionals to make therapeutic decisions such as drug and drug product selection.
  2. Determines the therapeutic drug monitoring and drug dosing.
  3. Participates in the planning and development of patient treatment.
  4. Investigates therapeutic alternatives and recommends or initiates management of patient-related problems based on interpretation of literature & clinical experience.
