Specific nutrition interventions
- A study investigated how specific nutrition interventions were implemented at four United States hospitals, compared rates of malnutrition diagnosis and assessment between physicians and registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), and how these differences impacted the nutrition intervention patients received during their hospital stay.
- The results indicate that The high level of agreement on assessment and malnutrition diagnosis suggest positive levels of malnutrition care.

Juçara juice
- A study investigated the effect of Juçara fruit juice consumption on the inflammatory response to high intensity exercise( HIIE) in physically active subjects.
- In a randomized, crossover design, 15 men were assigned to drink 250 mL of either JFJ or water (control) 1 h before a cycling session.
- The results indicate that JFJ intake attenuated the anti-inflammatory response to HIIE, possibly resulting from a lower degree of muscle stress.

DTAC and clinical outcomes in cancer
- Many studies have showed an inverse association between higher total antioxidant capacity of the diet (DTAC) and chronic non communicable diseases .
- A study aim to evaluate the association of the dietary total antioxidant capacity with anthropometric and biochemical indicators and clinical outcomes in hospitalized cancer patients.
- The results indicate that DTAC was associated with a better prognosis of hospitalized cancer patients, considering signs and symptoms of nutritional impact, as well as the inflammatory state of the patient.

HGS and Malnutrition assessment
- A cohort study aim To determine whether hand-grip strength (HGS) has diagnostic accuracy for malnutrition assessment and whether it is an independent predictor of 90-day mortality in acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) patients.
- The results suggest that HGS is an independent indicator of malnutrition in ADHF patients and can serve as a prognostic marker of three-month mortality in male patients.

tPICC and Tcicc for HPN
- A study aim to compare complications associated with tunneled peripherally inserted central catheters (tPICC) and tunneled-cuffed centrally inserted central catheters (tCICC) in adult home parenteral nutrition (HPN). The results indicate that Tunneled PICCs and tCICCs have a similar complication rates per 1,000 days. Also, concerning the preferred and currently used VADs in HPN, tCICCs, can be effectively and safely replaced by tPICCs, depending on the indications.

RA and Sarcopenia
- A study aim To determine the frequency of Sarcopenia at the time of diagnosis in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, assessing disease activity and factors that may be associated with Sarcopenia and observe effects of treatment on Sarcopenia. The results indicate that Sarcopenia was found in approximately one third of the patients with newly diagnosed RA. Also, RA patients should be evaluated in terms of Sarcopenia besides evaluating joint and extra-auricular findings at the time of diagnosis.
